Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Cedar Spring Family Dentistry is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our multi-provider and family-owned practice located in Spartanburg, SC.

Salary: $45.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 8+ (part-time)

(new graduates and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply)

Our dental hygienists are the backbone behind the care we provide. We strive to foster an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of care possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient screening procedures, including assessment of oral health condition, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck exam, X-rays, intraoral photos, and dental charting.
• Performing a full-mouth debridement, SRP Therapy, and removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth.
• Applying preventive materials to the teeth (sealants and fluorides).
• Counseling patients about important oral hygiene steps for maintaining their health (brushing, flossing, etc.).
